An Alternate Archive of the Writings of Mistress Steel
and the Steel-Door website

This is an alternate archive of the former "Steel-Door" website, from the "Chamber" index (circa May, 2012).  Additionally included are other writings, specifically attributed to F.R.R. Mallory, aka Mistress Steel.

Consistency in formatting for the "Chamber" version entries was achieved by using a standard template for these "Steel-Door Newsletter" entries. Please note that variations in the Chamber footer entries are consistent with the original entries. Also see the Archivist's notes at the end for source attribution and information found about links in the source. vv33 Entries in the "Scrolls" index had various formatting, and unique topics were included using the "latest is the best" principle. Consistency in formatting for the "Scrolls" version entries (the heritage entries) was achieved by creating a unique standard template for those entries.

Please note that monetary amounts were probably accurate when the article was first posted. The earliest of the archived pages used was found to be from circa late 1999. Also note that these pages were never fully posted.

To aid readability, Grammarly was used to revise the text for spelling, subject - verb agreement, and various grammar issues, mainly when the original text deviated from US Standard English. The Archivist has refrained from making changes beyond those recommended by Grammarly to ensure consistent use of various terms. Additionally, to aid in research and continuity, self-referential links from the archive.org source are directed to this alternate archive and not back to the archive.org archive. Links in the archive.org version have been updated as the information for a successor link was found. Further, the Drupal Definition formatting was used for both Q&A text as well as actual definition text in the original without adding color or other emphasis. Some graphics that may have been on the original site were not found in the archive.org data. No provision for a placeholder for missing graphics was made.

This alternate archive focuses on entries indexed under the Chambers entry TOC page vv33 and, to a lesser extent, the Scrolls entry TOC page. Other selections attributed to the same author (F.R.R. Mallory, the nom de plume of the OP, aka Mistress Steel), as the Archivist may find them on other sites, may also be included with attribution to the source site.
