To some extent, all humans manifest traits of either domination or submission. In general, the greatest majority of people manifest both traits, with neither trait being particularly strong. This is true if that person interacts entirely with other people whose aspect or trait is within the same general range. When or if that person crosses paths with an individual whose aspect or trait presentation is stronger, the individual will instinctively status check to see where they are within the altered circumstances, new chain of command. Once they determine their relative status, their behavior will meet the terms of that status. In broader terms, this is how large groups of humans decide to follow the dictates or ideology of one singular individual. Separately, the individuals may act as low-level dominants in their daily lives, but once they are within the presence or influence of a much stronger dominant, then they manifest as submissive to that dominant. This can be identified as a survival trait; in ancient terms, the lesson would be - follow me or die -. The weaker individual would recognize the stronger individual as a 'threat to survival' and would respond with their own built-in responses to maximize opportunities for survival. In addition, this individual would probably 'impute' the ideology of the source in order to 'retain face' for their action of submission to that dominant. Thus becoming a 'believer' in the dominant apparent cause or action. You have mentioned the genetic disposition to engage in risk games; to some extent, these same traits are displayed as the individual engages in the 'domination' of the drug, gambling, or other higher-risk activity. Often, they know in advance that the activity is superior to their ability to resist and engage in that activity as a platform or permissive position to behave in the manifestation that is an expression of their true nature.

Many submissives find 'platforms' for their expression, which will not expose them to 'diminished face' by the cluster group, small community, or family that they live within. Reconciling the idea that you desire to submit with the rhetoric and expectations of performance or behavior dictated by the overt instruction and direction of society and church is enormously difficult.

This removes submission as a 'genetic disposition' per se and places it more closely within the nature of man. As a species, we use domination and submission as a means to unify to overcome obstacles that would or could destroy us.

It is possible for you to 'manage' or 'mask' your submissive traits; it is probable that you have done so with some measure of success for the entirety of your life. It is also possible that you are experiencing an 'eruption through' that mask. Part of the submissive expression is the haunting desire to 'align' with a dominant. You might consider this in part as a reproductive response to 'breed' with the strain most likely to succeed long term. Most people find the reproductive or sexual arena to be the easiest place to express this desire, especially in countries where the sexual aspects of a person's life are often extremely private. They can 'label' their feelings or actions as being 'sexually adventurous', thereby displacing any importance those actions may have.

You have asked me about female dominants. This is where things get interesting. Biologically, the two emerge from the same bloodlines. In other words, if you come from a lineage of significant domination, then you will find that the dominants within that line are within both genders, although in historical terms, female dominants were restrained by the church in the year 384 A.D. from action. It was quite literally a death sentence for a woman to take direct action - she would be labeled a heretic by the church and her family socially destroyed or even killed. Direct action by a female dominant was considered to be in opposition to church law, meaning that any such action was an action against the faith, against the church, and quite literally against god. Within the United States, the vast majority of women are descended from European or 'Christian' stock. This means that, at least for the past 2000 years or so, the biological behavior information passed from mother to daughter was to 'remain invisible'. Survival of the line required absolute adherence to 'proper female behavior' as dictated by the prevailing dominant control structures (church and state). This proper behavior was 'forced submissive status' upon the female or 'lesser' population.

Today break thru female dominants appear to number about 1-2% of 10% of the female population (US). These are women who cannot escape their expression as dominants and who eventually cease abiding by the strictures of religious law and societal dictates to attend to the business of 'taking' what they want in the world. These numbers are growing with the advent of the Internet, changing gender laws, and the exchange of information worldwide. It is expected that breakthrough dominant females will reach 5% of 10% by the year 2010 in the US and Europe.

However, it should be noted that statistically, the number of female dominants should equal the number of male dominants. This is estimated to be 10% of 10% of the human population (within the Beta Dominant range). Attaining this number will likely take a few centuries at the very least. Alpha dominants do not register in the statistics. Or, being a number so slight as to be meaningless.

It is my opinion that you have spent your life 'not acting' on or otherwise displaying your desire to submit. Depending on the strength of that submissive desire within you will determine if you can continue to 'manage' that desire. You should know that 90% of the human population falls within the range of low-level dominant, exposure-level submissive, and that most can 'uneasily' manage to maintain the illusion of balanced control.

If you are within the 10th percentile of the population descended from one of the major ruling bloodlines of the planet, then the aspects that manifest in your behavior may be too strong for you to escape. The idea of forced management will simply place you in positions and relationships that are empty in some profound way.

As to the odds of finding a dominant female. If you are strongly submissive, then your odds improve. You will simply be unable to cease looking and searching. While a submissive with a lesser aspect may manage by purchasing attention a couple of times a year or by interacting online, etc. Only you can determine how strong the volcano is inside your soul.
