The wonders of worship
It's not uncommon for your slave to feel such a strong reverence for you that it resembles "worship." Worship is not an unknown term in the BDSM world: "ass worship" and "foot worship" are two examples of its use. A slave's "worship" of her Master, however, is not related to this type of worship. It is different from worship in the sense of fetishism. It is not focused on a body part (although it can occasionally be), but is part of the slave's life.
A slave's worship is not an act, but an internal feeling. It is natural that, after a period of being supervised so closely, cared for, and taught, the slave will begin to see you as something important in her life. You have given her everything she needs to live her life, according to her needs and yours. You are the authority that rewards and punishes, the patient and practical teacher. You direct her with love, and for that, she will love you more each time. On the other hand, the ritualistic way of life and the structure within it sometimes resemble what we find in a religious community. Religious rituals and worship comfort their participants. In the same way, worshipping you can comfort your slave.
The most important thing to remember is that if you have trained her correctly, the slave will not have "broken" but will have "freed" herself from cultural and social norms and pressures. In part, it is this sense of freedom that creates the deep respect that manifests as worship.
Make no mistake; your slave does not think of you as "someone perfect" or as "a god" in the traditional sense of the word. She understands that you are capable of making mistakes and knows that you are a human being. Her worship of you is gratitude and dedication, and you should accept it in that spirit. It's her way of letting you know how she feels and that she recognizes the authority and strength of your dominance over her. Mere obedience doesn't allow her to express the depth of passion she may feel as your slave.
This kind of adoration isn't something you can train your slave to feel. It's a natural result of a Master's skill and tenderness. Any attempt to force it will likely fail. "Training" in this area involves self-discipline—yours.
If you begin to sense that the slave has developed a sense of adoration toward you, don't rest on your laurels and assume your responsibility. Like anything else, her reverence for you will disappear if she detects arrogance or complacency on your part, or if she feels it's something you expect simply because of your status.
The adoration of your slave, when not taken to extremes, is a joy and an honor. (Yes, you CAN be honored by your slave.) Return your slave's gratitude by continually reminding yourself of what you must do to deserve that honor.
