Consensual Nonconsent (CNC) refers to an agreement between a dominant and a submissive, in which some or all authority over the submissive is transferred to the dominant, either permanently or temporarily, on the understanding that the submissive may not withdraw consent for the duration of the agreement.
CNC agreements may be anything from a short-lived BDSM scene (eg, being in a cage for an hour irrespective of what the submissive then says) up to a life-long relationship (for example, a submissive consenting to the process of enslavement.)
A CNC agreement is the polar opposite of giving the submissive a safeword as a veto.
