To ensure clean contact with carpet and floors, a House Boy who is not wearing footwear outdoors must briefly self-check for clean feet prior to entering indoors, otherwise any observer may order the House Boy to immediately drop his bare buttocks to floor level while raising his legs for Foot Inspection to insure both feet and all toes are sufficiently clean to continue his duties and chores without needed bathing, showering or Spot Cleaning (Rule #57).
